U.S. Assistant Secretary of State to visit China

U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs Daniel Russel will visit China between Sept. 6 and 8, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying announced on Wednesday.

The two sides will exchange views on the China-U.S. relationship and major issues of common interest, and prepare for Chinese President Xi Jinping's state visit to the United States in September, said Hua at a regular news briefing. Endi
