French stock market index up 0.79 pct

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 gained an advance of 0.79 percent to close at 5,195.41 points on Monday, up 40.66 points.

With progress made between Greece and its creditors, and the good start of the American market, the CAC 40 of Paris closed slightly higher on Monday with 31 of the 40 selected companies gaining advance.

The top three gainers on Monday were Vinci, up 1.91 percent, AXA, up 1.90 percent, and Orange, up 1.74 percent.

The three companies whose stocks dropped on Monday were Airbus Group, down 0.56 percent, Technip, down 0.47 percent, and Valeo, down 0.39 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 experienced a decrease of 0.72 percent to close at 5,154.75 points, down 37.36 points. Endit
