Urgent: Chinese shares slump at opening on Tuesday

Chinese stocks opened lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 4.09 percent to open at 3,573.14.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened 4.06 percent lower at 11,986.25.

The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, opened 5.11 percent lower at 2,546.41 points. Endi
