Four sisters died of suspected deliberate food poisoning at a village from Thursday night to Friday morning in the Munger district of the eastern Indian state of Bihar, said local media.

The incident took place at the Masudanpur village in Munger district, where four girls aged from five to 12 have died after eating some food Thursday evening which was cooked during the day, the Press Trust of India quoted police as saying.

Police have registered a case of unnatural death and sent the bodies for post-mortem, said the report.

The girls were living with their relatives and their parents were migrant laborers in another state, said the report. Endi
