Dollar changes hands at upper 123 yen level in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar changed hands at the upper 123 yen level early Thursday in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 123.87-93 yen compared with 123.81-91 yen in New York and 123.92-95 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The euro traded at 1.1206-1207 dollars and 138.81-82 yen against 1.1200-1210 dollars and 138.76-86 yen in New York and 1. 1220-1223 dollars and 139.07-11 yen in Tokyo late Wednesday afternoon. Endi
