Turkish club joins hands with Samuel Eto'o

Turkish Super League newcomer Antalyaspor announced that the club managers and Sampdoria's famous Cameroon striker Samuel Eto'o agreed in principle, local Today's Zaman reported Wednesday.

A written statement from the club on Wednesday said that the player is set to arrive in Turkey on Wednesday night, Antalyaspor Chairman Gultekin Gencer and a group of managers departed for Istanbul from Milano with Eto'o and that they are set to arrive at the Ataturk Airport in the evening.

The Cameroonian joined Italian Sampdoria this January, yet scored two goals in 18 matches he has played.

Eto'o is expected to seal the transfer deal after his arrival.

It was reported that Antalyaspor is still on negotiation with Brazilian star Ronaldo de Assis Moreira, commonly known as Ronaldinho who is who is currently a free agent after last playing for Mexican club Queretaro. Endi
