Dollar trades in lower 123 yen range in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar traded in the lower 123 yen range early Friday in Tokyo, slightly higher from its overnight levels in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 123.02-03 yen compared with 122.91-123.01 yen in New York and 122.85-86 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Thursday.

The euro fetched 1.1370-1374 dollars and 139.89-91 yen against 1.1354-1364 dollars and 139.67-77 yen in New York and 1.1379-1380 dollars and 139.79-83 yen in Tokyo late Thursday afternoon. Endi
