"We need to know how to play without Neymar" - Brazil coach

Brazil coach Carlos Caetano "Dunga" Bledorn Verri expressed his regret over Neymar's sending off after his team's defeat to Colombia during the Copa America football tournament.

Brazil's match against Colombia on Wednesday night was a double blow to the South American team as not only did they lose 1-0, they also learned that they couldn't count on their captain and leader Neymar who was sent off for his aggressive behaviour after the final whistle was blown.

During a news conference after the match, Dunga said that Neymar's absence will be felt in the next match against Venezuela on Sunday.

"I have to wait until tomorrow to think about how to play. We played once before without Neymar (2-0 victory against Mexico) and now we have to be ready again," said Dunga after breaking his winning streak of 11 matches.

"We would like to be able to count on him but it is not possible therefore we need to find a solution," the coach told Copa America's official website.

"I have to see the footage. In the moment there was a lot of confusion and I didn't see much. Some things that happened were beyond our control," added Dunga.

After losing to Colombia, Brazil need a good result against Venezuela which will mark the end of their participation in the group stages of the tournament in Chile. Endi
