Valparaiso has a comfortable, modern media center

Valparaiso, located at 111 km northwest of Santiago, is one of the seats of Copa America Chile 2015 and it has a comfortable and modern media center.

The media center is located in Renato Raggio Sports Complex, in front of Elias Figueroa stadium, in Valparaiso's west wing. The center has capacity for more than 200 people.

Elias Figueroa Stadium is seat of Chilean club Santiago Wanderers. Next Monday, the stadium will host the game between Bolivia and Ecuador in the second matchday of Group A.

Also, on Thursday June 18, Peru and Venezuela from Group C, will face off in this stadium, also known as Playa Ancha Stadium.

For journalist to work in a comfortable and normal way, Valparaiso municipality opened the media center in Renato Raggio Sports Complex.

"This media center is the most important one of the seat. We will have ten days of intense work here, so we will guarantee that journalists and reporters will be able to work and submit their stories to all the countries that are watching this great tournament," said Jorge Castro, Mayor of Valparaiso, during a visit to the center.

"We are very happy because many people is interested in our media center, including some outstanding international athletes. Our goal is that both the people from Valparaiso and the tourists will enjoy the activities we have planned around Copa America," said Castro.

Several entertainment activities were scheduled at Sotomayor Square, said Castro adding that "we welcome all the people to enjoy Copa America in our city and we hope we will do a good job."

Valparaiso media center has capacity for 224 people, who will be able to use multifunctional printers, LED televisions and full wifi connection. Endi
