Hungary's famous chess grandmaster Judit Polgar was appointed as the head coach of the national men's chess team, according to a report on the website of the Hungarian Chess Federation.
President of the Hungarian Chess Federation Tamas Sesztak told a press conference in Budapest on Friday that the presidium of the federation unanimously voted confidence in the most successful female chess player of all time.
Former head coach Tamas Horvath himself initiated the change. Judit will lead the team for the first time at the European Championship in November.
