Myanmar will host the 7th Summit of Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam (CLMV) in Nay Pyi Taw late this month, according to the central leading committee for the summit Tuesday.

Along with the summit, the 6th Summit of Ayeyawaddy-Chao-Phraya Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy incorporating the four countries and Thailand will also be held in the Myanmar capital on June 22-23.

Myanmar Vice President Sai Mauk Kham, who chairs the central leading committee, said the CLMV summit will cover cooperation among the four countries in areas of trade and investment, human resources development, agriculture, energy, transport and tourism.

CLMV summit is held biannually and the two summits have combined since 2008 in Vietnam.
