Tajik wrestler wins silver at Cadet European Judo Cup in Germany

Tajik judoka Hurshed Majidov won the silver medal at the Cadet European Judo Cup that completed on Sunday in Berlin, Germany, Tajikistan's National Olympic Committee (NOC) said Monday.

To win the men's 90kg silver, Majidov defeated his rivals from Germany Mario Guether, Slovenian Enej Marinic, Russians Kemal Kaitov and Inal Tasoev.

The European Judo Cup was for the cadets (boys and girls) between 15 and 17.

The two-day event attracted 661 judokas from 37 countries, who competed in eight categories. Endi
