Chinese shares close mixed Monday

Chinese shares ended mixed on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up by 0.87 percent to finish at 4,480.46 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index gained 0.28 percent to close at 14,860.53 points.

The ChiNext Index, tracking China's Nasdaq-style board of growth enterprises, shrank 0.44 percent to end at 2,845.25 points. Endi
