China stocks open higher Friday

Chinese stocks opened higher on Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 1.43 percent to open at 4,254.72 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 14,120.77 points, up 1.1 percent.

The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, gained 0.93 percent to open at 2,507.47 points. Endi
