Huawei launches two flagship smartphones

Technology company Huawei on Wednesday launched its two new flagship smartphones P8 and P8max in London.

The P8 is 6.4 mm thin, 144 grams weight, with dual SIM cards, and can work seamlessly with a 4G network. Huawei's own 64-bit, 2GHz 8-core Kirin 930 CPU is embedded inside the handset, joined by 3GB or RAM, 16GB of internal storage. It contains a 5.2 inches FHD screen, with 1080p display, a 2,680mAh battery and a 13-megapixel main camera.

The P8max is a 6.8-inch mega-size version of the P8, while has a claimed 95.9 percent color saturation and an 83 percent screen-to-body ratio. It is 6.8 millimeter thin, 228 gram weight, with a 4,360mAh battery.

The price of standard device of P8 and P8max is 499 pounds (or 740 U.S. dollars) and 549 pounds respectively. They will be available in more than 30 countries, including China and Britain, soon after this global launch event.

Huawei introduced its P series smartphones in 2012. According to the data from Huawei, global sales of Huawei P6 have totaled five million units in 60 countries, while P7 sales surpassed four million across more than 100 countries in just six months. (1 British pound = 1.48 U.S. dollars) Endit
