Albania, Macedonia sign cultural accord

Albania and Macedonia have signed a protocol of cultural cooperation, which includes a joint project on the preservation of cultural heritage.

The two neighboring countries also agreed to arrange various cultural activities in each other's country, according to the protocol signed Monday by Albanian Culture Minister Mirela Kumbaro and her Macedonian counterpart, Elizabeta Kanceska-Milevska.

"In the framework of cultural cooperation ... we will boost the relations between the two countries by undertaking concrete actions," Kumbaro was quoted by the Albanian Telegraphic Agency as saying.

Kanceska-Milevska said the program of cooperation will last till 2020 and will also include cooperation in theater, music, folklore. Endi
