Prince Harry's final army Hurrah to be in Australia

Britain's Prince Harry will be embedded in the Australian army for a four week tour which signals the end of his military career.

Buckingham Palace confirmed on Tuesday that Prince Harry will be placed with the Australian army in the cities of Darwin, Perth and Sydney during the tour starting in April.

He will also attend the ANZAC centenary on the Turkish peninsula of Gallipoli with his father Prince Charles, local media reported.

Gallipoli was Australia's first major military campaign and is ingrained on the national pshcye.

Kensington Palace announced details of Harry's tour to Australia after it was first reported two weeks ago in British newspapers.

The palace said the 30-year-old Apache helicopter pilot will leave the British armed forces in June following a decade of full- time military service, including two tours of duty in Afghanistan.

It's not yet known what Harry will do next, except for charity work English royals specialize in.

"I am considering the options for the future," the prince said in the official statement.

Prince Harry will spend four weeks in April and May seconded to the Australian Defense Force where he will be attached to various units to gain an appreciation of the Australian armyss operations.

The Prince will also undertake an official tour of New Zealand in May. It will be the prince's first visit to the country. Endi
