Urgent: Gold down on stronger U.S. dollar

Gold futures on the COMEX division of the New York Mercantile Exchange fell on Wednesday, a third day of losses, as the U.S. dollar strengthened.

The most active gold contract for April delivery fell 3.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.29 percent, to settle at 1,200.90 dollars per ounce. Endite
