Some 130 new models, concept cars to be presented at Geneva Motor Show

Xinhua, February 19, 2015 Adjust font size:

The show organizers of the 85th Geneva International Motor Show has said that some 130 new models and concept cars will be presented to more than 700,000 visitors at this year's show, which is expected to officially kick off on March 5.

Nearly 220 exhibitors would be presenting some 900 vehicles at this year's show at the Palexpo exhibition halls, of which nearly a hundred already conform to the strict European Union emission norms that come into effect in 2021, the organizers added.

Qoros, a Chinese-Israeli manufacturer at the show, will be exhibiting for the third consecutive year while a large number of preparation specialists and top automotive designers will be presenting for the first time at Palexpo, including Radical Sportscars, Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus, ED Design, Phiaro, and Segula.

All the models to be on display which produce no more than 95 grams of CO2/km will be highlighted by the show organizers in cooperation with SuisseEnergie, the Swiss federal energy department.

The Geneva International Motor Show is one of the most important and attractive showcases in the automobile world. It is one of the top five car shows in the world. The 2015 Car of the Year award will also be presented at the 11-day event. Endit
