BiH entity elects president, vice presidents

Representatives of Parliamentary Assembly of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH), an entity of BiH, on Monday elected new president and two vice presidents, in the first step to form a government.

Marinko Cavara from Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) became the new president of FBiH, while two vice pesidents are Bosniak Melika Mahmutovic from Party of Democratic Action (SDA) and Serb Milan Dunovic from Democratic Front (DF).

After voting, newly elected president and two vice presidents took the oath.

BiH has two entities, the FBiH and the Republika Srpska (RS), each with their own parliament and government.

In RS, the president and two vice presidents are directly elect on general election.
