Singapore stocks close 0.11 pct lower

Singapore stocks finished lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 3.82 points, or 0.11 percent, to close at 3,341.07.

A total of 1.39 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1. 18 billion Singapore dollars (944 million U.S. dollars).

Decliners outnumbered gainers 226 to 164, while 552 others finished unchanged.

The STI index gained 6.45 points, or 0.19 percent, to close at 3,344.89 on Monday. Endi
