South Korea defeated Kuwait 1-0 at the AFC Asian Cup's group stage here on Monday, with their seven players replaced from first match line-up.

South Korea nearly broke the ice in the 30th minute when Lee Keun-Ho made into the pennalty area, but his flip shot was denied by Kuwait's goalkeeper Hameed Youssef.

South Korea grabbed the scoring chance ten minutes before the half time when Cha Du-Ri passed the ball into the box and Nan Tae-Hee headed it into the net.

Nan had chances to change the scoreboard in the 59th minute, but his shot went wide. Endi
