3 killed as militants attack forces' convoy in SW Pakistan

At least three security personnel were killed and five others injured when unknown militants opened fire at a security convoy in Pakistan's southwest trade port of Gawadar on Friday afternoon, local media reported.

Dawn TV said that the militants attacked the convoy of paramilitary troops' Frontier Corps when it was on patrol in Gawadar.

The attackers fled the scene following the attack, and the injured were shifted to hospital.

Security forces have cordoned off the area for investigations.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet. Endi
