Indian stocks close higher

Indian stocks closed higher Friday with the BSE benchmark index Sensex closing at 27,458.38 points, 183.67 points or 0.67 percent up from the previous close of 27,274, 71 points.

The rally was led by gains in metal, healthcare and IT stocks amid a firming trend at other Asian markets. Endi
