In 1908, U.S. scientist Charles Guthrie successfully grafted one dog's head onto the side of another's neck, creating the world's first man-made two headed dog. This two-headed dog survived for 26 minutes. During the Cold War, scientists from the Soviet Union also did similar experiments.
