The Shenzhou 10 manned spacecraft, carrying three astronauts, blasted off at 5:38 p.m. on June 11, 2013, from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China. During its 15-day journey in space, the spacecraft docked with the orbiting space lab Tiangong 1 twice. The three crew members, Zhang Xiaoguang, Nie Haisheng, Wang Yaping(female), conducted space medicine and technological experiments and other scientific missions. [photo / Xinhua] |
