Vietnam's Ministry of Health said that the country confirmed two more influenza A/H1N1 cases, bringing the total number of flu patients to 25, Vietnam News Agency reported on Friday.
A seven-year-old boy, living in Ho Chi Minh City, was confirmed positive to the influenza virus after having contacts with two other A/H1N1 flu patients. Another returned to Vietnam from the United States, according to the report.
The two patients are being isolated and receiving treatments. Their health are in stable conditions, said the ministry.
It warned that people with flu symptoms like fever, cough and sore throat should be isolated, wear masks and report their health conditions to the nearest health agency.
Infected people were recommended not to be taken to the hospitals by public means of transport.
