Vietnam Reports 2 More A/H1N1 Flu Cases

The Ho Chi Minh City Health Department of Vietnam confirmed two more A/H1N1 cases, raising the number of people infected with the virus to 17, local newspaper the New Hanoi reported on Wednesday.
One patient, a 45-year-old man, came back from the United States on the flight coded OZ 731 on June 8 and was quarantined at HCM City Hospital of Tropical Diseases. He was the third among confirmed cases to show higher temperature when entering the country through Tan Son Nhat International Airport and found infected with A/H1N1 virus later.
Another patient, a seven-year-old boy, infected with the virus for contacting two other previously-confirmed patients and was quarantined at HCM Children Hospital No.2. This is the second case of human-to-human transmission in Vietnam so far, said the newspaper.
HCM City Health Department made a name list of 289 passengers on the flight coded OZ 731 and sent it to the Ministry of Health and the city's districts so that these people are monitored within seven days.
