Vietnam Reports 5 More Influenza A/H1N1 Cases

The Health Department of Vietnam's southern province of Ho Chi Minh City said that there had been five more influenza A/H1N1 cases in the country, local online news source the Young People reported on Sunday.
The five new cases belong to a family, raising the total number of people found positive to the virus to 10, said HCM City Health Department.
Among these five people, a 16-year-old patient, identified as T.B.T by the newspaper, came back from the United States on the flight UA869 on June 5 and was initially found positive to the virus.
Four others include one came back from Australia, two from the United States and one is in the southern province of Dong Nai.
The five new patients are being quarantined at HCM City Hospital of Tropical Diseases and HCM City Children Hospital No.2 and their health all shows stable condition.
HCM City Health Department sent a name list of passengers on the same flight with T.B.T to 24 districts so that these people are monitored while nine other relatives of T.B.T will be monitored and quarantined at home within seven days, said the newspaper.
HCM City Health Department also said the country's first case of influenza A/H1N1 was discharged from the hospital on June 5.
