Hanoi Reports 1st A/H1N1 Case, Toll at 20 in Vietnam

Vietnamese capital city of Hanoi reported the first A/H1N1 patient on Wednesday, bringing the total number of flu cases to 20 in Vietnam, Vietnamese newspaper The New Hanoi reported on Thursday.
According to the Hanoi-based National Institute of Infectious and Tropical Diseases, the Hanoi patient came back from the United States on June 6 on the flight K681. He was treated at the hospital three days later with high fever and coughing.
Hospital test showed the man was positive to A/H1N1 virus, said the newspaper.
On Wednesday, Ho Chi Minh City reported two more new cases. A six-year-old boy, coming back from the United States on the flight coded UA 869, was found positive with the virus and is being treated at the HCM City Pham Ngoc Thach Hospital. His parents are also being quarantined here.
Another patient, a 42-year-old woman, is being treated at HCM City Hospital of Tropical Diseases.
Vietnam has reported 20 cases of A/H1N1 flu since its outbreak.
