家里经济情况不好，我们在外边打工（我们两口子），孩子还要上学，贷款开这个废品站，家里的情况不好，多挣点钱吧，情况好一点就最好了，给孩子念书。反正我们不识字，就给孩子找个老师。

My family is in a bad financial situation. My husband and I left our hometown to work. Our child is in school. I applied for loans to start this waste recycling station to earn more money to make ends meet and support my kid’s schooling. We are illiterate but we are eager to let our child have an education.

贷款以后，现在买了几头牛，以前养狗的时候，供个大学生比较困难一点，养了牛以后，现在准备盖房子，盖楼房。

I bought some cattle with my micro loans. It was much harder for me to pay for my college tuition before when I raised dogs in the past. Now I’m planning to build a house, multiple floors!

过去，我们住的就是破房子，慢慢的，家庭有了变化，现在又盖了新房子，去年我们买了价值将近30万的车，3000块的小额贷款，给我们农村的贫困妇女搭了一个很好很好的平台。

We used to live in a shack. But our family’s lives gradually got better. Now we’ve built a new house. Last year we bought a car worth 300,000 yuan (US$47,670). It all started with a micro loan of 3,000 yuan, which was a great foundation for women like me living in poor rural areas.
