Special team of male nurses battles against epidemic in Hubei province

The male nurses are in charge of burdensome duties in the quarantine ward, such as waste disposal, instrument repair, and moving supplies and equipment.

Huang Wen is another member of the team of nurses. He is responsible for handling medical waste, including saliva, sputum, blood, and other fluids, in addition to his regular work.

“I am able to reduce some of my colleagues’ stress by doing this assignment,” he said.
