China's Chen lead boy's RS:X in 2017 Youth Worlds

SANYA, China, Dec. 12 (Xinhua) -- Chinese sailor Chen Hao, the titlist of 2017 National Youth Sailing Championships, led the boy's RS:X after the second day of the 2017 Youth Sailing World Championships on Tuesday.

Sofia Leoni of Italy led the table of girl's 29er with her partner. She said she was not troubled by the changeable wind direction. "For me I do enjoy this situation," she said, "It's exciting because you never know what will happen next."

"We think that a good beginning is important but not the most important, it is whether you can bear the pressure and hold on to the last minute that matters," said the twins of Carmen and Emma Cowles who lead the standings of girl's 420 after Tuesday's races.

The 2017 Youth Sailing World Championships, which will run till Dec. 15, are being held near Serenity Coast of Sanya with an entry of 380 sailors from 60 countries and regions. Enditem
