Paris CAC 40 index up 0.22 pct Monday

French stock market index, the CAC 40, gained 0.22 percent, or 11.98 points, to close at 5,417.40 points on Monday.

A total of 26 of the 40 selected companies saw increase in the day.

The top three gainers were Arcelormittal, up 3.22 percent, Peugeot, up 1.93 percent, and Solvay, up 1.81 percent.

The three companies of which the stock price dropped the most were Cap Gemini, down 1.19 percent, Michelin (CGDE), down 1.03 percent, and Pernod-Ricard, down 0.95 percent. Enditem
