Dollar changes hands in upper 113 yen zone in early trade in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 113 yen zone in early deals on Friday in Tokyo, in line with levels seen overnight in New York.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 113.85-87 yen compared with 113.81-91 yen in New York and 114.20-21 yen at 5 p.m. on Thursday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.0864-0864 dollars and 123.69-73 yen against 1.0856-0866 dollars and 123.60-70 yen in New York and 1.0886-0888 dollars and 124.32-36 yen in late Thursday afternoon trade in Tokyo. Endit
