Four injured as bomb targets police vehicle in northwestern Pakistan

Xinhua, May 8, 2017 Adjust font size:

At least four people, three policemen and a passerby, were injured in a bomb attack in Pakistan's Peshawar city on Monday, local Urdu media reported.

Dawn News reported that the personnel were from the police forces' criminal investigation department. The attack occurred as they were on their way back after disposing off a bomb outside a girls'primary school.

Police said that everything was preplanned by the terrorists who first fixed the bomb outside the school to force police reach the site, and later targeted their vehicle with a roadside planted device.

Police cordoned off the area for investigations. No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack. Endit
