ISTANBUL -- A Russian warship sank after hitting a cargo ship in the Black Sea on Thursday due to heavy fog, but all were rescued, Turkish media said.
The incident occurred off the coast of Kilyos in Istanbul, not far from the Bosporus Strait, where the Russian warship crashed into a cargo ship and sank later, Turkish press reports said. (Turkey-Ship Collision)

DAMASCUS -- The Syrian army confirmed that Israel missile fire targeted a Syrian military position near the international airport of the capital Damascus earlier on Thursday, according to the state TV.
Israel fired several missiles from inside the occupied territory against one of the military positions southwest of the Damascus airport, causing fire and several explosions in the targeted site, which left damages, the report quoted Syrian army as saying. (Syria-Israel)

NEW DELHI -- India Thursday successfully testfired its intermediate range, nuclear-capable Agni-III ballistic missile from an island off the coast of the eastern state of Odisha, sources said.
"The testfiring from the Integrated Test Range of Abdul Kalam Island was part of an user trial of the 3,000-km range missile.
