Wizards' Mahinmi out for Games 3, 4 at least due to calf strain

Xinhua, April 22, 2017 Adjust font size:

Washington Wizards backup center Ian Mahinmi will miss at least Games 3 and 4 of the first-round playoff series against the Atlanta Hawks due to calf strain.

Mahinmi got hurt late in the regular season and has missed the start of the playoff. Washington leads Atlanta 2-0 in the best-of-seven series as the Hawks is to host Game 3 on Saturday.

Washington coach Scott Brooks said that there is no exact timetable for Mahinmi's comback and added that he "definitely won't play the next few games."

"Whenever he's ready, he's ready. There's no pressure from me or our staff," Brooks said. Enditem
