Spanish stock market falls 0.09 pct, closes at 9,504 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 fell 0.09 percent on Friday to close at 9,504.10 points, down from the 9,512.80 points of Thursday.

Share values were up 1.32 percent in the week as a whole with the Spanish risk premium beginning the week at 109 points and finishing at 110 points. Spain's 10-year bond interest rate went from 1.49 percent on Monday to 1.58 percent on Friday closing time.

On Friday session, Mapfre shares led falls losing 1.24 percent followed by Acciona, Banco Popular, Cellnex, Repsol and Telefonica that lost 1.21 percent, 1.10 percent, 0.92 percent, 0.77 percent and 0.72 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Melia Hotels shares led rises climbing 2.15 percent, followed by Banco Sabadell, AENA, Gas Natural, Viscofan and Gamesa that rose 2.05 percent, 1.74 percent, 1.19 percent, 0.83 percent and 0.80 percent respectively. Endit
