British FTSE 100 rose 0.32 pct on Friday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Friday rose by 0.32 percent, or 23.00 points, to 7,184.49 points.

Share price of Tesco increased by 9.60 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Severn Trent, Smurfit Kappa Group, Admiral Group and DCC increased by 2.49 percent, 2.38 percent, 2.04 percent and 1.64 percent respectively.

Antofagasta led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 4.08 percent, following by easyJet (3.37 percent), Pearson (2.41 percent), Burberry Group (1.02 percent), Standard Chartered (0.91 percent). Endit
