British FTSE 100 rises 0.20 pct on Friday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Friday rose by 0.20 percent, or 14.74 points, to 7,210.05 points.

Share price of BAE Systems increased by 2.98 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips.

Lloyds Banking Group, Rolls-Royce Holdings, Burberry Group and British Land Company increased by 1.93 percent, 1.72 percent, 1.59 percent and 1.43 percent respectively.

Fresnillo led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 3.51 percent, following by Randgold Resources (2.83 percent), Babcock International Group (1.67 percent), DCC (1.51 percent) and InterContinental Hotels Group (1.35 percent). Endit
