French stocks stable on Wednesday

The French stock market index, CAC 40, remained stable on Wednesday, closing at 4,899.40 points.

The CAC 40 was up only 0.07 points, with 15 of the 40 selected companies experiencing an increase.

The top gainers were Accor, up 2.27 percent, BNP Paribas, up 1.42 percent, and AXA, up 1.17 percent.

The companies which experienced the biggest drop in stock prices were Valeo, down 2.35 percent, Michelin Nom., down 2.30 percent, and Kering, down 1.33 percent. Endit
