Pilot dies in hang glider crash in Czech

A 57-year-old man died in a hang glider crash accident on Friday afternoon in South Moravia in Czech Republic, police said.

The hang glider crashed from the 30-metre altitude, and its pilot died at the site.

South Moravia emergency service spokeswoman Hedvika Kropackova said eye-witnesses tried to rescue the pilot, but they failed.

The police is investigating the accident. Endit
