The U.S. dollar dropped against other major currencies on Friday due to lack of liquidity.

In late New York trading, the euro increased to 1.0527 dollars from 1.0491 dollars, while the dollar bought 116.83 Japanese yen, higher than 116.58 yen in the previous session. Enditem
