A new civil aviation college was opened on Wednesday in the Libyan city of Misrata.

The college is the second largest in the country, with 417 students from all over Libya, said its dean, Mustafa Garisa.

Garisa said that the college now has two departments, of engineering and aviation administration. Eight other departments will be added soon.

Misrata's new civil aviation college is the second of its kind in Libya after Sbe'a civil aviation college, near the capital Tripoli. Endit
