Business confidence in Macedonia's manufacturing industry up

Business representatives in Macedonia considered that the confidence indicator in the manufacturing industry in November 2016 was 0.2 percentage points higher than the previous month, the state statistical office said Friday.

Speaking on annual terms, such growth in the confidence indicator was 4.6 percentage points higher compared to November 2015.

The estimation of the economic situation was that it was more satisfactory compared to October 2016 and much more satisfactory compared to November 2015, the statistical office here said.

The situation with the current volume of production orders in November 2016 was more satisfactory compared to October while the expectations for the production volume for the next three months was more satisfactory compared to the previous month, official data showed.

Meanwhile, the stocks of finished products were almost at the same level as the previous month.

The factors that had the greatest influence on limiting the production volume in November 2016 were low foreign demand, low domestic demand, and shortage of skilled labor. Endit
