British FTSE 100 rises 0.18 pct

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Friday rose by 0.18 percent, or 12.63 points, to 7011.64 points.

Share price of Old Mutual increased by 3.64 percent, topping the gainers of the blue chips. EasyJet, Hikma Pharmaceuticals, Burberry Group and BP increased by 3.57 percent, 2.58 percent, 2.41 percent and 2.13 percent respectively.

Micro Focus International led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 3.49 percent, following by Tesco (2.20 percent), Antofagasta (1.98 percent), Anglo American (1.86 percent), Carnival (1.50 percent). Endit
