CAC 40 index rises by 0.29 pct

The CAC 40, France's benchmark stock market index, which began the session on Friday in a hesitant manner, returned to positive territory just before noon to close at 4,833.27 points Friday, 0.29 percent higher than the previous trading day.

Safe Orthopedics jumped 16.9 percent, Zodiac Aerospace gained 5.3 percent, Nokia increased 4.2 percent and Renault rose by 1.4 percent.

On the other hand, Sanofi retreated 2.1 percent, Publicis lost 0.9 percent, Peugeot decreased 0.4 percent, and BNP Paribas fell by 1.2 percent. Endit
