China's treasury bond futures closed lower on Thursday, with the contract for settlement in March 2017 closed 1.16 percent lower at 97.595 yuan (about 14 U.S. dollars).

The June 2017 contract closed 1.196 percent lower at 97.11 yuan. The September 2017 contract closed 1.077 percent lower at 96.87 yuan.

The treasury bond futures were launched at the Shanghai-based China Financial Futures Exchange and started trading on Sept. 6, 2013. Enditem
