Xinhua, November 30, 2016 Adjust font size:

Kuwait's emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad Al-Sabah has reappointed the outgoing prime minister to form a new cabinet, said KUNA news agency on Wednesday.

Under Kuwait's constitution, Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Sabah should form the cabinet before December 11, when the new parliament is due to hold its inaugural session.

The official KUNA news agency said the emir issued a decree reappointing Sheikh Jaber after consultations with former premiers and ex-parliament speaker Marzouk al-Ghanem. Endit
